Whether you’re interested in placing a link within an existing article, publishing original sponsored content, or, commissioning a professionally written travel feature, we offer straightforward pricing and a streamlined publishing process. We also offer video content placement.

All placements are subject to editorial approval, and payment is required before publication.

• Sponsored link in an existing article: $195 (2 links in the same article $275 )
• Sponsor supplied article with single link: $375 (add a 2nd link for $95 in the same article)
• We write a sponsored article: $575 (comes with 1 link, add a 2nd link for $95)

Articles supplied or written by us must be road trip and/or travel related. Articles supplied to us MUST be original content written specifically for MikesRoadTrip.com. Sponsored articles we write will be between 750-1000 words. If longer articles are desired, the rate is $.25/word after 1000 words. At least 2-3 supporting images are expected if the article is supplied. 3-4 supporting images will be used if we write the article.

Are sponsored articles and links permanent?

Placements are intended to remain published for the lifetime of the website, with no annual renewal fees. We reserve the right to update or remove content for editorial, technical, legal, or website-quality reasons.

Will sponsored articles be labeled?

Sponsored content is identified in accordance with applicable advertising disclosure requirements. Paid links are appropriately qualified under search engine guidelines.

Are sponsored links do-follow?

Paid links use appropriate attributes, including rel=”sponsored”, consistent with Google’s guidelines. Unqualified do-follow links are not sold as a paid service.

Can I supply my own article?

Yes. Articles must be original, travel-related, informative, and meet our editorial standards. Relevant images with appropriate usage rights should be included. All submissions are subject to approval.

When is payment required?

Full payment for sponsored article and link placements is required within 48 hours of invoicing and before publication. Larger video projects may require a deposit, with the balance due before publication. Unpaid placements may be canceled.

How quickly will my content be published?

Publication schedules depend on editorial approval, payment, and production requirements. Timing will be confirmed once your placement has been approved.

Can any business advertise?

We prioritize travel-related brands, destinations, accommodations, products, and services. Certain categories are restricted or subject to additional review. We reserve the right to decline any placement.

Do you guarantee traffic or SEO results?

We provide the agreed-upon publishing and content services but cannot guarantee traffic, views, conversions, or search engine rankings.

Can brands reuse sponsored videos?

Video licensing and usage rights are available by agreement. Paid advertising usage, raw footage, and extended licensing may incur additional fees.
