Enjoyed the Phoenix to St. George travel vid! Loved seeing the stunning vistas of Grand Canyon West, Valley of Fire, the Hoover Dam, Zion National Park, Red Rock Canyon and more — along with the great fall colors in Zion’s Angels Landing and your unexpected dinner guests that one night. What an adventure!
Thank you! It really is a wonderful road trip.
Love the spectacular Sigiriya video, Mike! It looks like both royal gardens at the base and the royal palace above are just incredible places to explore. At 60 floors though, I think we can safely upgrade the hike to the top from “Semi-Arduous” to “Full-On Arduous!” You are rewarded with some amazing views for your effort, however. You did some great camera work in this video. Thanks for sharing this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Thank you so much! Appreciate the kudos. Thanks for stopping by, Mike
Hualapai Mountain Park for the win! Looks like a stunning getaway for the nature lover in all of us. Your video shares awesome tips on how to get there, camping/lodging options, hiking and trails, local wildlife, the park in winter and more! A ‘must-see’ for anyone who loves hiking, backpacking and secluded camping in a scenic mountain setting.
It really is a wonderful place. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.
Really enjoyed the video of the stunning Kinderdijk village in Holland and UNESCO World Heritage Site there, Mike! Appreciated the tips on how to get there – be it with your cruise or tour group – or on your own biking, driving, or using public transit. Loved hearing about the site’s interesting history and scenery, and about the purpose and function of the windmills and canals. The part about the people who operated and lived inside the windmills was super-interesting: they remind me a little of lighthouse keepers. Kinderdijk would be an amazing day trip for history and nature lovers visiting the region. Add it to the bucket list!
Aw, thank you so much!
I loved taking a magic ride down the Colorado River with you in the “Beyond the Bend” video!
The drive to the adventure was an adventure in and of itself, as you cruised scenic Arizona highways to take in jaw-dropping sights at Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Monument, Marble Canyon, and Vermillion Cliffs.
Then the next morning at Lees Ferry, you made like salmon – and took a ride upstream to the place where the paddle boarding began. How wonderful to see you make your way downriver sailing past natural springs, richly colored cliffs, and the beautiful Horseshoe Bend.
After camping in a secluded hideaway, a second day on the Colorado River brought additional glorious views of sheer cliffs, a beautiful beach, and horses and bighorn sheep grazing peacefully on the grass. As you returned to Lees Ferry, you and Jodi must have felt a great sense of accomplishment. What a memorable three days!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and stopping by.
Just finished watching your video paddle boarding on the Colorado River, my first video of your recorded trips. Enjoyed it all.
How do you return to your vehicle?
Is this something you prearrange?
I’m sure each adventure requires prearranged plans.
Thanks for sharing your adventures, I look forward to enjoying more!
Thank you so much! There is a large parking lot near the put-in point. The boat takes you up-river and you paddle down river to the spot where your vehicle is parked. Hope that helps. Cheers, Mike
