Back to Germany, 2nd time this year

News Update:

Earlier this year I spent three weeks road tripping around Germany, exploring many areas I had never been to before. As a matter of fact, it seems I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Germany these past few years, recently I published this article: 10 Incredible Places to Visit in Germany.

In late September I will be heading  back to Germany with Mihaela of WorldTravelBug. We will spent a few days in Berlin staying at the luxurious Hotel de Rome in the heart of the city. Hotel de Rome is a Rocco Forte property, earlier this year I stayed at their sister property the Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt, which was just a spectacular experience. If Hotel de Rome is anything like the Villa Kennedy, I know we’re in for a real treat.

After a few days in Berlin, we will be heading to Leipzig, which is about 2 hours south by train. Leipzig is known for its rich culture and for being an economic hub of Medieval Germany. Travel and Leisure even said it was one of Germany’s most fascinating cities. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see for ourselves.

Leipzig Germany

After Leipzig, we head back to Berlin for a day to prepare for an exciting experience. We will be traveling to Denmark and Norway via a Viking Ocean Cruise. This will be Mihaela’s first time on a cruise and just my second. This will be a much needed vacation for us both. As professional travel bloggers, we don’t often get a chance to take a vacation, so this will be very welcomed.
