This post is broken up into many different categories to help you navigate the sea of AI tools, each has a brief description of what the tool/app does.

AI CHATBOTS

As travel writers and bloggers, chatbots are probably going to be your most used AI tool. You can use chatbots to help come up with story ideas, headlines and titles, scripts for videos and so much more. The key is to come up with some really great “prompts,” which are more detailed that search queries. I will provide some examples below, along with other use-cases for using chatbots.

Here are a few Chatbot Tools:

ChatGPT (one of many OpenAI tools) – This is the leading chatbot out there, it is especially powerful when you subscribe and use their version 4.
Bard (by Google) – I have found this not to be as good as ChatGPT, but sometimes it can provide better responses. It’s worth using if you do not like the results you get from other chatbots.
Orca AI – An open-source threat to ChatGPT by Microsoft.
Jasper – an AI writing tool designed to generate marketing copy, such as product descriptions, company bios, ad copy, and social media captions.
Rytr.me – A chatbot segmented into a variety of use-cases, i.e. blog post, headlines, YouTube titles, story plots and more.
Perplexity.ai – This is an answer engine that delivers answers to complex questions through a chatbot-style interface and large language model (LLM) similar to ChatGPT, but perhaps a bit more user friendly for newbies.
PromptVibes.com – When you can’t think of a good prompt, this AI tool can come in handy.
Hemmingwayapp.com – Helps you keep your article and video scripts at an 8th grade level, which has been proven to get more traction.
