Camping at Sebago Lake

I left my posh accommodations at the Camden Harbour Inn today and began my long trek back west.  Tonight I’m camped out at Sebago Lake State Park, which is located in the far western part of Maine. The beach and lake area are quite nice, but the camp spots just suck.  With all the surrounding land, I just don’t understand why planners have to put the camp spots right on top of one another. When you can hear every word your fellow campmates say, that’s not “camping,” that’s just sleeping outside.  The bathrooms and shower facilities are however quite nice for a campground.
