An epic series of European road trips this summer

This summer I will be spending well over two months in Europe road tripping around Germany, Romania and Italy. I’m so excited because while I have been to Germany and Italy multiple times, I will be visiting regions I’ve never been to before. And, this will be my first time to Romania, which I feel is an up-and-coming tourist destination.

Central Europe Road Trip road

I’ll be flying Condor Airlines for the first time, which has fairly new non-stop route three days per week from Phoenix to Frankfurt.

GTM - Germany Travel Mart logoWhile in Germany I will be visiting the Frankfurt/Rhine region, as well as a bit west of there in Trier, Saarbruecken, Rüdesheim and then to Wiesbaden. I will be working on a couple of different articles as well as attending GTM (Germany Travel Mart).

My next destination will be to fly from Frankfurt to Romania where I will be doing a three-week road trip around the country with WorldTravelBug.com and Mercedes.

Next, I’ll be heading to the Tuscan region of Italy for a few weeks. The first part of this trip will be with my sister Susanne who will be joining me at a week-long cooking school in Montefollonico. Cook in Tuscany is an all-inclusive experience where we will be immersed in the culture, cooking, eating and playing our way through the region.

Then, I’l be joined by Mihaela from World Travel Bug, where plans are not 100% solidified, but it’s looking like we might visit the Maremma Region, both the inner part of Pitigliano Sorano Sovana. The unique Tufa Lands toward an ancient Volcano, and then the coast between Monte Argentario and the Etruscan Coast.

I still have the first part of July vacant, so if want to work with me, please reach out. If you’re going to be in any of these areas, I’d love to meet up for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
