The Most Road Tripped Man in the World

Meet Mike Shubic, the ultimate road tripper and publisher of the well-established travel blog MikesRoadTrip.com. He’s not just any travel blogger, but arguably the “Most Road Tripped Man in the World!” Mike has been traveling full time and vlogging about his adventures since early 2010 when the travel blogging trend was just beginning to take hold.

Mike Shubic - "Most Road Tripped Man in the World"

As the years went by, travel blogging became a significant part of destination marketing, and Mike has been leading the way. He’s worked with destinations, hotels, attractions, brands, and PR Firms all over the world. But what sets him apart from other travel bloggers is his unmatched road trip prowess!

Mike’s longest continuous road trip to date was a seven-month journey back in the spring of 2013, starting from his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. He chased the sun, heading south and east until the weather began to warm up. Then, he ventured north all the way to Quebec before finally making his way to San Diego and back home to Phoenix for the holidays.

It’s no surprise that people he meets on the road often comment that he must be the “most road tripped man in the world.” Inspired by the iconic “Most Interesting Man in the World” commercials by Dos Equis, Mike took creative cues and put his spin on it as illustrated in the video below.

When it comes to road tripping, Mike is the real deal. His tires inflate themselves, and no matter what vehicle he’s in, the radio automatically tunes into his favorite station. Even when he goes off-roading, his vehicle stays spotless! He doesn’t always travel by road, but when he does, it’s in a Ford. So buckle up and join Mike on his epic road trip adventures. Drive safely, my friends!

  1. The map for Fundy tour is misleading for section Sussex to Moncton . Route 114 leaves Sussex area and travels to shore through Fundy National Park, Alma, Cape Enrage, Hopewell Rocks. Then to Moncton along the Petitcodiac River. It is not a straight line travelling inland. Otherwise I would share this post.

    1. Hi Phyllis…oh no. I’m sorry you did not find it helpful. That was the route I took, but I see your point. I do appreciate you stopping by and reading it. Did you watch the video? All the best, Mike

  2. Mike, I’m a Westgate owner in Gatlinburg, TN and have been reduced to a regular hotel room, not even a coffee pot. I was misled to believe I would be getting an owner’s suite with a kitchenette and the cutlery you mentioned.

I feel taken advantage of and my week wasted. I’m here contemplating leaving earlier than planned as a result. What a waste!!!! Waiting to see what, if anything, can be done.

I’m glad your experience was better.

    Unhappy customer,
    Musette Edwards
