I recently spent a couple of months working on a comprehensive article for Travelocity on the top 10 Best Small City Road Trip Destinations in the country. Most top-10 lists are frivolous and often quite subjective. I wanted to create a list of the best small city road trip destinations that would be fair and worthy of being on such a list. So, I started with a list of amazing destinations that I could personally attest their validity for being included. From there, I created a poll where the public had a month to vote on their favorite small city road trip destination. With over 2,500 votes, these are the places YOU voted as the 10 best small city road trip destinations in the U.S.
