Star trail stacking

I really enjoy shooting celestial photos like the star trail below.  I’ve been recently learning and experimenting with photo “stacking,” which is a method of taking multiple images in the exact position and melding them together.  The image below is the compilation of 38 images that took over 4 hours to shoot. The nice thing about being in Wickenburg, Arizona is that the air is dry, the night skies are clear, and there is little light pollution… the perfect ingredients for getting really great star trail shot.
